GFC Causes Delays to Construction of Al Kharj Agricultural Facility
The effects of the Global Financial Crisis have caused unforeseen delays in the construction of the GFS Agricultural Facility in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia.
Due to the severe impact of the global financial crisis, GFS has unfortunately had to put the construction of the Al Kharj Agricultural Facility on hold. The construction of the project had initially been scaled back at the beginning of the Global Financial Crisis however GFS made the decision to place the project completely on hold until the economical environment improves.
The company has not set a specific date when construction will resume however it will continue to assess the situation on a monthly basis until works are again underway.
